Asset Management Analyst Full Time

The Analyst will focus primarily on assisting with asset business plan development and implementation (including sales/dispositions, follow-on acquisitions, refinancings, capital projects, and leasing), third party relationships, development oversight, monitoring and reporting asset level performance, and identifying potential investment issues.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation of property business plans, operating budgets, capital strategy (e.g., sales/dispositions, follow-on acquisitions, refinancings, etc.), and leasing strategy;
• Conducting market assessments and making recommendations based on results;
• Assisting the Acquisition team with underwriting potential real estate and structured finance acquisitions;
• Working on special projects including hold-sell analyses and refinancing opportunities;
• Interacting with joint venture partners and third-party service providers and helping to manage those relationships;
• Monitoring business plan performance and making recommendations to correct any variances;
• Assisting with the lease approval process;
• Performing property and portfolio valuations and return analyses for quarterly investor reports.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, including real estate acquisitions, asset management, construction management/budgeting, operations, or finance.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Development and/or real estate cash flow modeling experience
• Strong quantitative and technical/computer skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ARGUS)
• A true self-starter capable of accomplishing complicated tasks with limited supervision
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business or related area and/or an MBA in real estate or finance
