The Analyst/Sr. Analyst plays a critical role in advancing the strategic objectives of the Multifamily Asset Management Team by delivering comprehensive reporting and data-driven insights. This position focuses on analyzing and compiling data across the multifamily portfolio to support performance monitoring, operational improvements, and investment decision-making. The Analyst will be responsible for property and portfolio level reporting, conducting financial and statistical analysis, adding value by improving multifamily analytics, and supporting portfolio-wide projects and initiatives.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare, coordinate and ensure timely completion of property-level and portfolio-level reporting such as annual business plans, quarterly fund reports, monthly status reports, investor questionnaires, and other reports.
- Develop interactive dashboards in PowerBI and build excel-based analyses, utilizing internal data warehouse, in collaboration with Information Technology (IT) team.
- Leverage artificial intelligence tools, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to enhance efficiency and automate reporting and analytical processes.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses of real estate assets, including revenue and expense projections, discounted cash flows, time-weighted returns, and other performance metrics.
- Apply statistical methods such as linear regression, time series analysis, and correlation to identify trends and improve operating metrics.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and other essential duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.
- 1 – 3 years of work experience with related responsibilities.
- High level of proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
- Working knowledge of PowerBI, Python, and Large Language Models (LLMs) and their associated applications.
- Solid understanding of financial analysis concepts, preferably multifamily revenues and expenses.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines or support key deliverables.
- Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
