Real Estate – ICS (Product), Principal Full Time

The Principal will join Blackstone Real Estate’s Institutional Client Solutions Product Specialist team in New York. This team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all marketing materials and investor communications for Blackstone’s Real Estate funds. The Principal will focus on Blackstone Real Estate’s global funds and will lead multiple projects at one time employing a range of skillsets. The Principal will spend significant time with members of the firm’s real estate group across the US, Europe and Asia, including the acquisitions, asset management, legal/compliance, and finance teams. The main areas of responsibility for the role include:

• Marketing materials and investor communications: work collaboratively with business leaders and various teams within Blackstone Real Estate to create and maintain presentation materials, investor reporting, and other investor communications (e.g., webinars, video content, other investor memoranda)
• Investor due diligence: respond to investor queries and complete due diligence questionnaires
• New product launches: lead business development initiatives and strategic planning for new fund launches (including co-investments), production of presentation materials, private placement memoranda, and handling investor due diligence
• Support fundraising team and senior leadership: lead the production of talking points, ad hoc presentations, and strategic projects
• Product knowledge: become an expert on Blackstone Real Estate’s funds and investments
• Team player: contribute to collegial team work environment

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience
• Prior work experience in investment banking, investor relations and/or real estate private equity is preferred
• Highly motivated (a self-starter with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors
• Multi-tasking skills and executes a wide range of assignments
• Produces creative, compelling, detailed materials and information for existing and prospective investors;
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Effective and demonstrable writing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Leadership and strong project management skills
• Quickly pivots between a variety of projects and be a team-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment
• Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to learn
