Senior Analyst- Financial Reporting Full Time

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will assist with the preparation and analysis of Invesco’s financial statements and regulatory filings. This position will also assist with monthly and ad hoc financial analysis.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation of financial data being reported in financial statements and required regulatory filings
• Providing oversite and leadership of Shared Services team and work production
• Preparing selected financial statements, footnotes and disclosures, collation of supporting records, and tie down of all published financial information
• Performing monthly and quarterly regulatory compliance monitoring and administer correspondence directly with industry regulators
• Coordinating with Global Business Services and Financial Planning and Analytics teams
• Performing analysis of operating performance and prepare reporting packages for board meetings
• Reviewing and analyzing monthly reporting templates received from subsidiaries
• Monitoring intercompany transactions for reasonableness and perform annual transfer pricing analysis
• Maintaining SOX documentation for the group financial reporting team
• Facilitating related audits/reviews by external auditors
• Assisting with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Performing ad hoc projects as needed

The experience you bring:

• 4+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience is required. Public accounting or pubic company reporting experience is preferred
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting required
• CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred
• CPA candidacy is required
• Must have solid understanding of accounting and financial principles and be able to apply these principles to corporate accounting
• Must have knowledge of SOX requirements
• Workiva/HFM/Oracle/Blackline experience is preferred
• Ability to self-motivate and establish personal deadlines
• Ability to process technical accounting concepts and determine their applicability to Invesco and its business units
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage a variety of audiences, internally and externally
• Ability to build strong relationships with team and other key constituents
• Ability to quickly grasp and solve complex problems; deal with and manage change in a fluid environment; prioritize multiple competing projects and initiatives and focus resources in line with such priorities
• Displays a high degree of interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy with all constituencies; strong collaboration skills with peers
