Asset Finance is a global team specializing in asset-backed credit facilities, secured on physical and\/or financial collateral.. Broad range of investment mandate include consumer loans, diversified real estate (residential &amp; CRE), commercial credit (SME, equipment leases, trade receivables), fund finance, digital infrastructure (data centers, GPU financing, fiber etc.). The team invests across the capital structure for third-party managed client capital \/ funds.<\/p>\n<p>This is an opportunity to play an important role in the growth of our global asset finance platform and to get exposure to a global team and its full spectrum of investment activities.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Execution: Evaluate asset-backed finance opportunities across sectors; support transaction execution and investment team across underwriting, structuring, diligence, internal IC process, closing<\/li>\n<li>Participating in structuring, negotiating and documenting investments \u2013 supporting senior members of the investments team<\/li>\n<li>Engaging in all aspects of due diligence and business analysis<\/li>\n<li>Project management of transaction operations including coordinating with multiple departments within the organization: Specifically, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations<\/li>\n<li>Communicating and defending investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees, including relevant GSAM Investment Committees<\/li>\n<li>Actively monitoring existing investments in the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Communicating and defending investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees, including relevant GSAM Investment Committees<\/li>\n<li>Actively monitoring existing investments in the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to ensuring reporting excellence towards our clients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Experience &amp; Qualifications Required:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 years or more work experience in structured finance or corporate finance at a bank, rating agency, or asset manager<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience across private asset-backed transactions \/ private securitizations<\/li>\n<li>Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through<\/li>\n<li>Clear, concise communicator with strong investment memo and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Flexible and creative mindset; ability to analyse a variety of industries and businesses<\/li>\n<li>Ability to self-direct, analyse and evaluate and form independent judgments<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate well with others<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree required<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English.
