{"id":41581,"date":"2026-01-16T02:00:25","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T08:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=41581"},"modified":"2026-01-16T02:12:01","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T08:12:01","slug":"svp-housing-lead-in-research-strategy-4","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/job\/svp-housing-lead-in-research-strategy-4\/","title":{"rendered":"SVP \u2013 Housing Lead in Research &#038; Strategy"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-24\">\n<h2>Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, direct, and oversee all research initiatives focused on housing markets across the spectrum of residential opportunities including: SFR\/BTR, manufactured, affordable, student, senior and traditional apartments.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor macro and local economic indicators, employment growth, and demographic trends to clearly identify key housing trends that can be applied across the different strategies within the firm.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with the data science team to create actionable investment recommendations from portfolio construction to market selection.<\/li>\n<li>Be conversant with the nuances of acquisition vs. development project.<\/li>\n<li>Be versed with key data science concepts including GIS, ESRI, Azure etc. A keen appreciation of big data analytics is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and vet data sources to enhance forecasting capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Design, draft, and publish quarterly market reports, strategy research, white papers, and external industry publications.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare investment memo for Investment Committee as well as market forecasts\/business plans<\/li>\n<li>Supervise, mentor and direct junior research analyst(s), as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in industry conferences and visit target markets when needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication skills, ability present sophisticated data-centric research to external investors and internal stakeholders including portfolio managers.<\/li>\n<li>An advanced degree from a leading university in economics, real estate, urban planning, or related field is required.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 15 years of research experience from real estate investment management and\/or investment banking public REIT research coverage focused on housing research and urban economics.<\/li>\n<li>Direct experience in covering alternative housing types (SFR\/BTR, manufactured, affordable, student) is a positive.<\/li>\n<li>Superior writing skills with track record of real estate research publications.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate complex technical analysis and concepts to clients in a concise and persuasive manner.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, and project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong data analysis skills.
