The person will be responsible for interacting with partners, analyzing the financial performance of uk property portfolios, creating and implementing business plans for existing investments as well as preparing and presenting strategic recommendations for Investment Committees. The individual will look after UK asset management activities across all asset classes; build constructive relationships with our partners and support the European team with UK know-how. Work closely with country head to expand UK presence and footprint<\/p>\n<p>The role is based in London. The applicant can be expected to be involved in all varying stages of the investment cycle. Direct experience in property portfolio management is helpful, as well as working with 50-50 type JVs.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with joint venture partners and third party service providers (including property and asset managers, leasing and investment agents etc.) driving their performance, creating optimal business plans and ensuring investment performance is in-line with the business plan<\/li>\n<li>Handle the communication with external parties (agents, brokers, property managers, vendors, analysts, property surveyors); control and check their work<\/li>\n<li>Monitor properties and performance on a day-to-day basis<\/li>\n<li>Target\/actual comparisons, independent check of the ongoing weekly result (plan\/actual deviations). Execution of any required arrangements for explanation of the deviations and presentation of the deviations in the relevant meetings<\/li>\n<li>Take a leading role in the creation of the annual business planning for the responsible property and properties and (in case of collaboration with external asset managers and\/or in joint ventures) align on the (joint venture) business plan<\/li>\n<li>Development of action strategies and options (including repositioning) taking account of market and life cycle and investor-specific investment strategies in agreement with other departments<\/li>\n<li>Focus on investor requirements across all key established KPIs including financial returns, operational excellence, sustainability and smart requirements<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with investment team in order to ensure good practices and latest knowledge are included in a \u201cBuy Manage Sell\u201d process ; prepare hold \/sell analysis papers, refinancing and other relevant documents for the Investment Committee<\/li>\n<li>Prepare quarterly investment updates and answering to investor ad hoc requirements<\/li>\n<li>Become an expert in internal systems and schedules in order to deliver product on time and as per local or investment requirements<\/li>\n<li>Parameter planning: Take up market perspective for incentives, market rents and prolongations<\/li>\n<li>Assurance of the optimal product design for the requirements of the target customers Preparation and support for property sales and\/or other events in an asset life cycle<\/li>\n<li>Control of the creation and implementation of appropriate letting actions and strategies<\/li>\n<li>Commercial support in the course of the purchase \/ sale process and identification of potential investments through own network<\/li>\n<li>Gather the appropriate market research and review real estate surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends for relevant sectors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Key Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 7 years\u2019 experience with solid academics (educated to degree level), ideally holding qualifications in engineering\/science, finance, economics, or business studies<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge across asset classes<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of MS Office and Inventory-managing systems (SAP, Bison, Docurex, Argus, Talliance)<\/li>\n<li>Historical experience in development implementation considered an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience of presentation preparation and research<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiating, communication and presentation skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Very good financial modelling skills<\/li>\n<li>Execution experience with ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude and \u201ccan-do\u201d mindset<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a diverse environment with different cultures<\/li>\n<li>Above-average commitment and persistence in carrying out projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Other Desired Attributes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional and positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Cultural fit<\/li>\n<li>Commercial acumen<\/li>\n<li>Confident decision making and ability to be proactive<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively operate in a cross-cultural environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/pimco.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/pimco-careers\/job\/London-GBR\/PIMCO-Prime-Real-Estate-UK-Asset-Manager_R105828?jobFamilyGroup=6e192a3f175201508467c7b1f9096c28&amp;jobFamilyGroup=6e192a3f175201dedd3984baf9097228&amp;jobFamilyGroup=6e192a3f175201133a64ab9ff9096028\">Pimco&#8217;s Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PIMCO Prime is looking for an experienced Real Estate Asset Management professional to join its growing team in London.
