{"id":42123,"date":"2026-02-05T03:41:49","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T09:41:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=42123"},"modified":"2026-02-11T03:20:47","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T09:20:47","slug":"credit-risk-fixed-structured-lending-commercial-real-estate-vice-president-firm-risk-management","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/job\/credit-risk-fixed-structured-lending-commercial-real-estate-vice-president-firm-risk-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Credit Risk Fixed Structured Lending &#8211; Commercial Real Estate, Vice President, Firm Risk Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in Credit Risk Fixed Structured Lending &#8211; Commercial Real Estate team.<\/p>\n<p>In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyze and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.<\/p>\n<h2>What you&#8217;ll do in the role:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Job specific functions include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a large team (&gt;5 FTEs) of professionals responsible for providing high quality credit due diligence on underlying secured lending portfolio backed by CRE loans.<\/li>\n<li>The team lead will provide oversight of the credit analysis, credit rating assignment and risk management for the assigned team portfolio<\/li>\n<li>The team lead will also cover collateral monitoring and valuation assessments for the above mentioned portfolio of secured lending facilities.<\/li>\n<li>The team lead will also monitor a portfolio of borrowers themself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary duties include:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Individual contribution:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the financial and credit analysis for an assigned coverage portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Track and monitor industry trends, borrower compliance for assigned coverage portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Present and discuss credit views internally on assigned coverage portfolio, including rating and regulatory classification recommendation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Team management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing credit analysis performed by the team<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the tracking and monitoring over of industry trends<\/li>\n<li>Prepare team to present and discuss credit views internally on assigned coverage portfolio, including rating and regulatory classification recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the tracking and monitoring of borrower compliance in accordance with contractual terms and Firm requirements for the assigned coverage portfolio;<\/li>\n<li>Training new team members and ensuring continued growth in technical expertise of team members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What you&#8217;ll bring to the role::<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Superior written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Quantitative orientation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage dynamic priorities<\/li>\n<li>Finance and\/or accounting degree preferable<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the loan origination and collateralized structured lending preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Commercial Real Estate loan underwriting is mandatory<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 8.5 years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Masters or equivalent professional qualification (CFA, CA, CPA, etc preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by onshore teams and senior stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Possess strong problem identification and solution techniques<\/li>\n<li>Good collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/morganstanley.eightfold.ai\/careers\/job\/549794636542?domain=morganstanley.com&amp;hl=en\">Morgan Stanley Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in Credit Risk Fixed Structured Lending &#8211; Commercial Real Estate team.
