This internship is designed to provide hands\u2011on exposure to real estate portfolio management, investment analysis, and fund\u2011level decision\u2011making within a large institutional platform.<\/p>\n<p>The intern will work closely with members of the portfolio management team and cross\u2011functional partners to assist with asset\u2011level analysis, fund modeling, valuations, and investor\u2011facing materials. This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct visibility into investment decisions, and a strong learning experience for MBA candidates pursuing careers in real estate, investments, or asset management.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Portfolio Strategy Support<\/strong>: Assist with tracking investment objectives at both the asset and fund level. Help evaluate how new and existing investments contribute to portfolio performance, diversification, and risk objectives.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Valuations &amp; Asset Review<\/strong>: Support the monthly valuation process by helping review valuation forecasts, external appraisals, and asset\u2011level assumptions in coordination with investment team members.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Performance Analysis<\/strong>: Analyze asset and fund performance relative to underwriting and benchmarks. Prepare summaries and exhibits highlighting key drivers, risks, and variances to expectations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fund Modeling &amp; Analytics<\/strong>: Assist with maintaining and updating fund\u2011level models, including portfolio dashboards, debt schedules, and liquidity forecasts. Run sensitivities and scenario analyses to evaluate performance and balance sheet impacts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cross\u2011Functional Collaboration<\/strong>: Work alongside Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Product Management teams to support reporting accuracy, data consistency, and ongoing portfolio initiatives.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Board &amp; Investor Materials<\/strong>: Help prepare presentation materials for internal committees, board reporting, and client\/investor communications.
