In addition, this role will also assist loan producers with closing new loan originations.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Loan Asset Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for loan asset management and servicing matters including payoffs, prepayments, lease reviews, SNDA\u2019s, reserves\/draw requests, escrows, cash management, loan assumptions, substitutions, property releases, financial reporting, inspections, post-closing items, and other borrower requests on assigned loan portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and assist with mortgage modifications and restructurings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Loan Closings<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support mortgage originators on new loan transactions and manage the closing process, including allocation, rate lock, coordinating third party consultants, due diligence, reviewing loan documents, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Complete loan set up and confirm data accuracy across accounting, third party servicing and management information systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Surveillance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor loan\/property performance, monitoring problem loans and assist on note sales.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare annual mortgage ratings including OSAR financial analysis, market research, and valuation of commercial real estate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with mortgage originators, loan managers, analysts, risk management (internal and external), internal departments, third-party servicers, appraisers, regional architects, third party vendors, and legal counsel (in-house and external) on routine tasks and ad-hoc requests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4+ years of experience with loan documents including loan agreements, promissory notes, deed of trust, guarantees, escrow agreements, leases and SNDA\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of experience with commercial real estate valuation and<\/li>\n<li>market fundamentals.<br \/>\nProficiency with ARGUS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Team oriented with excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>In order to post for this position, you need the proper work authorization to work in the country where the position is located and does not require relocation assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in an applicable business-related field required, MBA or Masters in Real Estate equivalent preferred.<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of commercial real estate experience with various property types including office, retail, industrial, multi-family and hotels preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metlifecareers.com\/en_US\/ml\/JobDetail\/MIM-Associate-Loan-Management\/12707\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MetLife Real Estate Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role will be responsible for loan asset management, servicing, surveillance, and mortgage ratings for a portfolio of commercial real estate loans managed by MetLife Investment Management\u2019s Chicago Regional Office&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2767,"featured_media":1754,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Chicago, IL","_application":"https:\/\/www.metlifecareers.com\/en_US\/ml\/JobDetail\/MIM-Associate-Loan-Management\/12707","_company_name":"MetLife Real Estate Investments","_company_website":"https:\/\/www.metlife.com\/investments\/real-estate\/index.html?WT.ac=GN_investments_real-estate#overview","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"120000-130000","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":"","_apply_link":"","_hide_expiration":"0","_company_facebook":""},"job_listing_region":[192],"job-categories":[37,72],"job-types":[2],"job_listing_tag":[239,241],"class_list":{"0":"post-42367","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","6":"job_listing_region-usa-midwest","7":"job_listing_category-asset-management","8":"job_listing_category-loan-servicing","9":"job_listing_type-full-time","10":"job_listing_tag-life-insurance-company","11":"job_listing_tag-real-estate-private-equity","13":"job-type-full-time"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.1.1 -
