The role is highly visible and requires regular collaboration with senior management of the company and periodic interaction with the Board of Directors. The objectives of the Capital Markets team include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure access to a plurality of efficient capital sources across public and private debt and equity markets<\/li>\n<li>Communicate company\u2019s fundamental operating performance, strategic initiatives and investment activity to key external stakeholders in partnership with various internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Maximize impact of investor relations strategy through the preparation and coordination of presentations to institutional investors, research analysts, lenders and rating agencies, as well as multi-year strategic presentations for the company\u2019s Board of Directors<\/li>\n<li>Optimize management team effectiveness through activities related to conferences, property tours, investor meetings and managing investor inquiries and requests<\/li>\n<li>Monitor trends in equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and derivatives markets to establish and execute balance sheet strategy and determine optimal sources of capital<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Capital Markets<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the execution of debt and equity capital raising, restructurings, bridge loans and other financings<\/li>\n<li>Support the execution and management of the company\u2019s foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives hedging strategy<\/li>\n<li>Build and manage corporate sources &amp; uses model including integration with annual budget and transaction pipeline; present cash management and leverage position to senior management and participate in short and long-term capitalization strategy<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of quarterly NAV modeling and cost of capital guidelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Investor Relations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support management team with activities related to conferences, property tours, investor meetings and managing investor inquiries and requests<\/li>\n<li>Manage correspondence with research analysts. Review analyst models and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial projections<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of quarterly supplemental financial information and business update materials<\/li>\n<li>Oversee drafting and publication of press releases, presentation materials and transaction announcements, including working with internal parties on content and messaging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Planning and Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with the financial planning and analysis team to prepare projections, analyses and presentations for the Board of Directors, investors, research analysts and rating agencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>OTHER DUTIES<\/h2>\n<p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this employee for this job.\u202f Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.<\/p>\n<h2>TRAVEL<\/h2>\n<p>Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.<\/p>\n<h2>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>At least 4 years of relevant experience in public markets. Prior experience with real estate investment trusts preferred<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing publicly reported financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills with senior internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Strong expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, capable of crafting visually appealing presentations.
