Reporting to the Fund Manager, their main responsibilities will be supporting on all aspects of the fund management and investment. The individual will take over the responsibility for providing the analytical and financial analysis support, and managing the financial modelling of the Funds.<\/p>\n<h2>Key responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the fund and portfolio manager through providing analysis of strategic and tactical property portfolio and fund level investment decisions<\/li>\n<li>Assist the fund manager in reporting to the Investment Committee, clients, investors and other interested parties on matters relating to fund analysis and performance, potential new acquisitions, new purchases and disposals<\/li>\n<li>Engage the agents network and screen the market to find new investment\/development opportunities in line with the agreed sectors\/funds\u2019 strategies;<\/li>\n<li>Financial modelling, organizing and preparing client presentations, helping manage transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the due diligence efforts performed during the acquisition phase (commercial, ESG, legal, tax, etc);<\/li>\n<li>Prepare quarterly reporting to investors, analysis and explanation of variances<\/li>\n<li>Assist in data collection of quarterly\/annual property valuation process and review them<\/li>\n<li>Collect and ensure the reliability of data that relate to properties under management<\/li>\n<li>Frequent travels required<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and applying strong local market knowledge (i.e., competition, supply pipeline, demand drivers, major tenants, market absorption).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications &amp; Experience Required<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree from a top Business School or University<\/li>\n<li>A sound understanding of performance measurement and investment analysis principles<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills \/ Excellent spreadsheet skills<\/li>\n<li>Financial, analytical, and modelling skills (experienced user of Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Experience of Argus software desirable<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in German\/English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Competencies Required<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiative and self\u2010motivation<\/li>\n<li>Positive can-do attitude, with the drive and ambition to deliver expectations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interact effectively with a dispersed and diverse stakeholder group<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, both written and oral<\/li>\n<li>Persuading and influencing<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/careers.tiaa.org\/real-estate-retail-senior-associate\/job\/7A7932D664FBEF6E00D0AB632131C2F0\">Nuveen&#8217;s Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Real Estate Retail Senior Associate will join Nuveen\u2019s real estate team based in Frankfurt to help grow the retail platform.
