Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, this role is responsible for setting FP&amp;A strategy, managing and developing a high-performing team, and delivering insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making, capital allocation, and long-term growth initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>The Senior Director will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, regional heads, and department leaders, ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and consistency across the organization while continuously enhancing forecasting methodologies, reporting tools, and analytical capabilities.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and oversee the global FP&amp;A team, including direct management of Senior Associates and other FP&amp;A professionals; provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management.<\/li>\n<li>Own the firm-wide annual budget, quarterly reforecast, and long-range planning processes, including timelines, assumptions, analysis, and executive-level deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with regional and department leadership to develop detailed expense projections supporting acquisitions, development initiatives, and new business ventures.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of forecasting and financial models, with a strong focus on analytics, trend analysis, and variance explanations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review executive-level materials, including written memos, board and senior management presentations, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Lead global monthly management reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and actionable insights across regions and functions.<\/li>\n<li>Drive value-add reporting and strategic analyses related to profitability, cost optimization, revenue opportunities, and investment returns.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to improve data integrity, reporting efficiency, and planning processes.<\/li>\n<li>Champion the evolution of internally developed financial applications and business intelligence tools; partner with technology teams on system enhancements and automation.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Tishman Speyer\u2019s global business, including existing and emerging regions, asset classes, and new platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Establish best practices, controls, and governance across FP&amp;A activities to support scalability and growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What we look for:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.<\/li>\n<li>10+ years of progressively responsible experience in FP&amp;A, corporate finance, or related roles; real estate or alternative asset management experience strongly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau or similar) preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Onsite presence is required for this position<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/ts.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/tishmanspeyer\/job\/NYC---Midtown\/Senior-Director--FP-A_R009122\">Tishman Speyer&#8217;s Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Senior Director, Financial Planning &amp; Analysis is responsible for overseeing global planning, forecasting, and management reporting across regions and departments.
