{"id":42661,"date":"2026-03-05T05:54:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-05T11:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=42661"},"modified":"2026-02-26T03:54:43","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T09:54:43","slug":"construction-superintendent","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/job\/construction-superintendent\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction Superintendent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating all field operations for one of our upcoming large-scale, fast-track commercial projects, ensuring commitment to quality and safe construction practices.<\/p>\n<h2>Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Onsite field supervision of all construction activities, overseeing third-party vendors and contractors<\/li>\n<li>Maintain project schedules, proactively managing the project budget by owning approvals, deliveries, controlling expenses, and reviewing submittals<\/li>\n<li>Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to ensure compliance and smooth project execution<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal Project Managers, Design Managers, and Development Managers to ensure all project goals are met<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the construction document coordination phase, reviewing document packages for procurement, and developing detailed scopes of work<\/li>\n<li>Assist in formulating, maintaining, and executing the project schedule, ensuring the timely completion of all phases<\/li>\n<li>Manage the permit process, working closely with expeditors, DOB (Department of Buildings), MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority), and other governmental entities to meet regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<li>Lead jobsite foreman meetings and ensure all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>15+ years of experience in major commercial construction, with a focus on core and shell projects<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management preferred<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership through experience and growth, including managing major trades such as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), structural, and foundations<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to supervise a major portion of the project(s) from inception to completion<\/li>\n<li>In charge of obtaining TCO (Temporary Certificate of Occupancy) by coordinating trades, including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Elevators, and Fire Alarm<\/li>\n<li>Project Experience: Minimum of 7 projects, with the last two serving as a principal team member for at least 75% of the project duration<\/li>\n<li>OSHA 40 card, Site Safety Training (SST) Supervisor card, and NYC Superintendent License required.
