For more information, visit affiniuscapital.com.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Associate is part of Affinius Capital\u2019s centralized Portfolio Management Analytics (PMA) department and is based in San Antonio, providing integrated analytical support to the firm\u2019s New York\u2013based credit platform. The role reports to the Managing Director of PMA and is responsible for building and maintaining cash flow models and analytical solutions for the firm\u2019s credit vehicles and lending strategies. The ideal candidate has advanced Excel and cash flow modeling expertise (preferably within private equity real estate), experience working with large datasets, and exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across San Antonio\u2011 and New York\u2011based teams are essential to ensure credit portfolios and loan positions are accurately captured, analyzed, and connected to the broader global platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Build, enhance, and maintain Excel\u2011based proprietary cash flow models for the firm\u2019s real estate credit vehicles and underlying investments\u00a0\u2013 including senior and subordinated loans, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity \u2013 serving as the subject matter expert for credit modeling tools and ad hoc analytical needs across PMA and the broader platform.<br \/>\nEnsure credit cash flow models and analytical tools adhere to Affinius Capital\u2019s best practices, quality standards, and control frameworks,\u00a0and are consistently maintained, governed, and integrated within the firm\u2019s broader data, reporting, and analytical ecosystem.<br \/>\nSupport the design and development of analytical models and tools that conform to evolving credit strategy needs \u2013 including sensitivities, scenario analysis, stress testing, and portfolio roll\u2011ups \u2013\u00a0participate in the evaluation, pilot, and migration of loan cash flow modeling from Excel into dedicated loan cash flow systems to improve scalability, control, consistency, and enterprise integration across the credit platform.<br \/>\nRespond to ad\u2011hoc analytical requests from credit portfolio managers, senior management, and investors,\u00a0with a focus on actual and projected credit performance, portfolio composition, liquidity, and economic impact to Affinius Capital\u2019s management company.<br \/>\nSupport the development and delivery of credit\u2011focused reporting solutions\u00a0for internal and external stakeholders, leveraging existing reporting platforms (including Power BI) and alternative tools as appropriate, all with a focus on publishing information to decision makers.<br \/>\nFoster strong cross\u2011functional collaboration with teams in San Antonio, New York, and Europe,\u00a0contributing to a cohesive, team\u2011oriented culture.<br \/>\nCoordinate with the Compliance team to establish and maintain necessary disclosures\u00a0around analytical work products.<br \/>\nPerform additional duties\u00a0as assigned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited university, with preference for candidates demonstrating strong intellectual curiosity, technical aptitude, and quantitative proficiency.<br \/>\n3-5 years of relevant experience developing advanced Excel-based cash flow models, preferably in private equity real estate and credit lending strategies.<br \/>\nAdvanced proficiency and proven experience in Excel (macros, VBA, advanced formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data simulations).<br \/>\nAttention to detail is a must, as are strong communication skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence.<br \/>\nStrong organizational skills are required.<br \/>\nSelf-starter; capable of developing and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br \/>\nWilling to work extended hours, on-site.<br \/>\nQualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Advanced skill in Excel and Word applications.<br \/>\nAbility to prioritize assignments to meet several deadlines.<br \/>\nExcellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills.<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of Power BI and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) is a plus.<\/p>\n<p>Affinius Capital complies with laws and regulations that permit certain requests related to your data in our files, including, but not limited to, the California Consumer Privacy Act (the \u201cCCPA\u201d).
