The LAM team manages a broad range of commercial real estate loans, including performing and non\u2011performing senior and junior positions, floating\u2011rate transitional loans, and complex structured finance investments.<\/p>\n<p>This role supports day\u2011to\u2011day asset management execution in close coordination with real estate credit teams, borrowers, servicers, and internal stakeholders. The position requires strong analytical judgment, the ability to manage multiple loans concurrently, and versatility across property types, capital structures, and asset performance profiles.<\/p>\n<p>Title will be determined based on experience, seniority, and demonstrated history managing distressed or underperforming loan assets.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate loans across multiple property types and performance profiles<\/li>\n<li>Develop a deep understanding of each loan\u2019s capital structure, collateral, business plan, and exit strategy<\/li>\n<li>Perform ongoing credit and risk analysis, proactively identify issues, and formulate tactical and strategic recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Support active management of underperforming or distressed assets, including modifications, extensions, and resolution strategies<\/li>\n<li>Update and review property\u2011level cash flow models and valuations on a monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Track and analyze key performance metrics including DSCR, debt yield, LTV, occupancy, NOI, and returns<\/li>\n<li>Monitor covenant compliance, reporting requirements, and borrower obligations<\/li>\n<li>Review reserve and construction draw requests and coordinate funding activity with servicers<\/li>\n<li>Lead or participate in borrower performance calls and document risks, action items, and outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with servicers to monitor payments, remittances, and reporting accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Maintain detailed loan\u2011level notes, action plans, and performance commentary within Asset Management systems<\/li>\n<li>Prepare loan\u2011level and portfolio\u2011level reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and ad\u2011hoc basis for senior management<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation and presentation of quarterly business plans, dashboards, and management materials<\/li>\n<li>Partner with senior team members on special situations, process enhancements, and reporting improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, real estate, accounting, economics, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of experience in real estate loan asset management, servicing, or real estate credit<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing or supporting portfolios of commercial real estate loans across multiple asset types<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of commercial real estate valuation, underwriting, and lending fundamentals<\/li>\n<li>Proven financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple assets and priorities in a fast\u2011paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including borrower and internal stakeholder interaction<\/li>\n<li>High attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Strongly Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct experience managing distressed, underperforming, or special situation loans<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with asset management databases and portfolio reporting tools<\/li>\n<li>Prior exposure to loan workouts, modifications, extensions, or resolution strategies<\/li>\n<li>Argus experience a plus, but not required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leveling &amp; Title Considerations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior Associate: Typically 3\u20135 years of experience with strong asset management fundamentals and exposure to complex or underperforming loans<\/li>\n<li>Junior Vice President: Typically 5+ years of experience with demonstrated ownership of distressed assets, borrower negotiations, and independent credit
