{"id":42919,"date":"2026-03-20T12:03:26","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T17:03:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=42919"},"modified":"2026-03-18T23:03:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T04:03:49","slug":"asset-manager-reo","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/job\/asset-manager-reo\/","title":{"rendered":"Asset Manager, REO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The REO Asset Manager will be responsible for the management of REO assets within Arbor\u2019s Agency loan portfolio.<\/p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions (Duties\/Responsibilities)<\/h2>\n<p>The Asset Manage will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<h2>REO Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Creating and implementing business plans associated with (Agency) REO properties, for maximizing asset value, improving operational performance, and preparing properties for stabilization, repositioning, or disposition.<\/li>\n<li>Engage third-party property managers to oversee property operations and direct and continuously evaluate their progress.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor asset performance, KPIs, and budget adherence to ensure Properties are being maintained and managed effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the auction or disposition process.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with senior management in analyzing strategies to mitigate losses and maximize asset value and manage the disposition process from beginning to end.<\/li>\n<li>Lead valuation efforts, working in conjunction with the brokers and the Asset Management team to update property valuations and gain deep understanding of the drivers of value.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Arbor\u2019s internal and external legal counsel to obtain understanding and resolve any REO-related issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Asset Management Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform financial analysis of properties including collections review, vacancy, cash flow, budget and variance review, lease analysis, appraisal and engineering report reviews, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the implementation of business plans.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with senior management in analyzing strategies for workouts, foreclosures, and dispositions.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor capital improvement projects to ensure timely completion within budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Additional loan servicing and reporting as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong>: Bachelor\u2019s degree, in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting; Master\u2019s degree preferred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong> 7 + years Asset Management experience is required with an emphasis on REO Asset Management.<\/p>\n<h2>Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of real estate markets and CMBS with particular emphasis on multifamily properties.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage REO pipeline and active REO while coordinating multiple parties at once towards a desired outcome.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think \u201coutside the box\u201d and be able to present ideas clearly and concisely both written and verbally.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical experience and able to model alternatives to demonstrate various paths which yield the highest recovery on a NPV basis.<\/li>\n<li>The qualified candidate will be detail-oriented, strong communicator, well-organized and be a REO subject matter expert within the Risk Management team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Travel<\/strong>: Up to 20%<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/arbor.com\/jobs\/?gh_jid=7626530003\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arbor Realty Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The REO Asset Manager will be responsible for the management of REO assets within Arbor\u2019s Agency loan portfolio.
