{"id":42927,"date":"2026-03-20T12:12:36","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T17:12:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=42927"},"modified":"2026-03-18T23:12:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T04:12:37","slug":"director-structured-asset-management","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/job\/director-structured-asset-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Director, Structured Asset Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Director, Asset Management will be responsible for the management of assets in Arbor Realty Trust\u2019s (ART) loan portfolio.<\/p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions (Duties\/Responsibilities)<\/h2>\n<p>The Director, Asset Management will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform financial analysis of properties including operating statements, budget and variance review, loan administration and borrower support, workout and foreclosure analysis, lease analysis, appraisal and engineering report reviews, etc. Also coordinate new loan activity with underwriters, attorneys, accounting, servicing, etc. Assess loan risk within the portfolio and make recommendations to senior management to mitigate the risk.<\/li>\n<li>Train Asset Management staff.<\/li>\n<li>Perform quarterly property level valuations in order to value the asset.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct market research to determine various factors impacting property level performance.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare quarterly reports, valuations and risk ratings.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the implementation of business plans associated with a variety of real estate-related assets, including mezzanine and bridge loans, REO properties and preferred equity positions.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with senior management in analyzing strategies for workouts, foreclosures, acquisitions and dispositions.<\/li>\n<li>Review and interpret legal documents, such as loan agreements, guarantees, and promissory notes, and coordinate with borrower and respective staff to ensure the loans remain in compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor capital improvement projects to ensure timely completion within budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Additional loan servicing and reporting as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree, in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting; Master\u2019s degree preferred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum 5 to 7 years Asset Management experience is required with an emphasis on REO Asset Management, valuations, relationship management, workouts, capital markets, and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n<h2>Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of real estate markets with particular emphasis on office, residential condominium and hospitality sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think \u201coutside the box\u201d and be able to present ideas clearly and concisely both written and verbally.
