Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance is all about thinking outside the box, challenging the status quo and striving to be best-in-class.<\/p>\n<p>As a Senior Associate on the Wholesale Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Portfolio Analytics team, you will be responsible for the research and evaluation of commercial real estate market trends and economic impacts on a &gt;$200 billion CRE portfolio. Your role will involve conducting in-depth analyses of various CRE property types to provide valuable insights and data-driven recommendations that will enhance our understanding of credit risk within the wholesale sector. By leveraging your expertise, you will contribute to the development of robust analytical frameworks and methodologies that will support informed decision-making and strategic planning within the organization.<\/p>\n<h2>Job Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate CRE data including portfolio concentrations, client and property financials, appraisal, macro-economic data, and real estate market trends and assess the impacts on loan performance and risk grading across all property types<\/li>\n<li>Analyze CRE loan risk grading methodologies to identify opportunities for process optimization and more efficient decision-making, leveraging loan characteristics, key performance metrics, and industry\/sector trends. Partner with technology\/production partners for any use-case\/solution deployment<\/li>\n<li>Manage end to end portfolio analytics for Multifamily property type within the CRE business<\/li>\n<li>Lead thematic and portfolio research initiatives focused on identifying and analyzing emerging risk trends. This involves synthesizing data and insights to understand how these trends impact industry dynamics and credit risk, thereby informing the development of proactive risk management strategies<\/li>\n<li>Utilize strong Python and SQL skills to efficiently manage and manipulate large data sets. This includes performing backtesting and conducting detailed portfolio analytics to validate models and ensure the robustness of credit risk assessments.<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) Apply Large Language Model (LLM) skills to synthesize information from multiple sources, generating systematic and comprehensive reports. This capability will enhance the ability to integrate diverse data points and insights into cohesive analyses that support strategic decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Develop\/refine Risk and Strength Assessment (RSA) factors to create analytics-driven market and portfolio insights and indicators, enabling continuous monitoring frameworks for proactive risk identification<\/li>\n<li>Partner with modeling teams for CRE grading model back-testing, ongoing performance monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Work in close collaboration with senior stakeholders to maintain\/monitor elevated risk segmentation, identify top risks, and provide specialized analysis and review as requested<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related fields.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of relevant work experience in Wholesale Credit Risk management (market analysis, economic research, trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to develop proficiency in dashboard, mapping, and data visualization software (i.e. Tableau, QlikSense)<\/li>\n<li>Relevant work experience in software, programming or coding such as Alteryx, Python or SQL.<\/li>\n<li>Desire to use modern technologies as a disruptive influence within banking.<\/li>\n<li>Attentive to detail and easily adaptable.<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic about knowledge sharing and collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills \u2013 you listen and communicate in a direct, succinct manner.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners to achieve objectives and prioritizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Domain expertise in Multifamily property type within the CRE business, knowledge of key market specific characteristics including key performance indicators such as vacancy trends, rental income, Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR), Loan to Value (LTV) etc. is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/jpmc.fa.oraclecloud.com\/hcmUI\/CandidateExperience\/en\/sites\/CX_1001\/job\/210721342\/?keyword=commercial+real+estate&amp;mode=location\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">JP Morgan Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient.
