The nation\u2019s greatest and most innovative secondary market Multifamily mortgage lender and issuer of securitized fixed-income with an annual platform exceeding $80 billion is looking to add a Multifamily Underwriting Professional to the Targeted Affordable Housing team.<\/p>\n<p>At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you\u2019ll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.<\/p>\n<h2>Our Impact:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Our team is responsible for underwriting Targeted Affordable Housing (TAH) loans originated coast to coast by our network of Optigo Lenders<\/li>\n<li>We are innovators in the industry by evaluating the story and making decisions based on the credit risk profile and finding creative ways to mitigate risks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Your Impact:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You will build toward credit approval and closing individual mortgage loans collateralized by multifamily properties<\/li>\n<li>Accurately review and ensure concise, complete, and clear Investment Briefs and ensure accurate data quality for loan securitization<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and conclude on unique affordable housing pro forma property financial statement considerations, resolve transactional issues that escalate in third party report, work with Producers to structure deals, review borrower financial position, market analysis, property inspections, present deals for approval as needed<\/li>\n<li>Develop resolutions to problems of limited scope following specific and detailed procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field or comparable amount of directly relevant professional experience<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 4+ years of related professional experience, preferably in multifamily or commercial real estate finance<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Position requires travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Keys to Success in this Role:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interest in a commercial real estate career<\/li>\n<li>Excellent collaborator and phenomenal teammate<\/li>\n<li>Sense of humor, strong work ethic, and positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Great multitasker<\/li>\n<li>Keep calm under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Stay current on policies and regulations that may affect the industry and be comfortable with transition and change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/careers.freddiemac.com\/us\/en\/job\/JR16585\/Multifamily-Underwriting-Professional\">Freddie Mac&#8217;s Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you are a hard-working, motivated and intellectually driven professional with a passion for commercial real estate (CRE) and finance, Freddie Mac Multifamily is the employer for you!
