The principal responsibilities include managing a rapidly growing portfolio of existing loans, monitoring ongoing portfolio management activities and evaluating new loans\/transactions or collateral additions.<\/p>\n<h2>What you\u2019ll do in the role:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and manage new loans &amp; existing portfolio of CRE transactions including periodic reporting of risk profiles, trends, industry developments and concentrations.<\/li>\n<li>In conjunction with the Sr. Credit Officer, prepare Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, monitor the ongoing financial condition and performance of the Borrower.<\/li>\n<li>Assess credit strengths and weakness of UHNW\/ HNW (Ultra-high Net Worth \/ High Net Worth) for US region. Interpret and identify risk by analyzing financial statements for individuals, joint borrowers, Revocable and Irrevocable Trust.<\/li>\n<li>Perform a thorough credit analysis on borrowers&#8217; financial health, risk rating and collateral analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Presentation to Credit Senior management, the Firm&#8217;s Credit Committee, and other internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Maintain frequent communication with Sr. Credit Officers regarding the financial condition of Borrower(s) and compliance with reporting requirements. Keep current on major developments and changes in financial condition and identification of risks.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure loan documentation accurately represents the terms of the loan approval and permits Morgan Stanley to enforce its rights on the collateral in a default situation. Review credit approval memos for compliance with firm&#8217;s credit policy and philosophy.<\/li>\n<li>Identify early warning signals in deteriorating credits. Perform regular financial, credit and lien checks. Check for covenant compliance. Make timely recommendations regarding changes in credit classification and risk rating. Advice Sr. Credit Officers on remedial action plans as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Sr. Credit Officers to maintain and update files in an orderly and timely fashion.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all requests within stated turn times unless justified as an exception. Manage expectations through active communication with Sr. Credit Officers.<\/li>\n<li>Must escalate material individual relationship or portfolio observations promptly to Sr. Credit Officers.<\/li>\n<li>Manage a team of Analysts\/Associates in terms of personal development, oversee production to ensure deliveries are on time and are of high quality, and provide timely feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Manage escalations, and show a strong inclination towards problem solving and innovation.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to production and recognize proper delegation, setting of department goals, work on synergies across different teams, projects to increase production and create efficient workflows and processes Skill set<\/li>\n<li>Experience in commercial real estate lending and credit underwriting<\/li>\n<li>Have a good knowledge of transaction structures, documentation, and the lending process<\/li>\n<li>Detail orientated and highly motivated.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to effectively summarize findings, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.<\/li>\n<li>Strong relationship management and possess good oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple deliverables with limited supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Good collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What you\u2019ll bring to the role:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s degree in finance required.
