This role will be a key partner in driving investment performance, creating value, and serving as a trusted resource on financial and operational matters.<\/p>\n<p>The position involves frequent interaction with asset managers, leasing heads, finance teams within Brookfield\u2019s logistics portfolio companies, and senior executives across the organisation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrates strong communication and analytical skills, has excellent attention to detail, and possesses a solid foundation in finance and valuations.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Source and screen bolt-on investment opportunities with high level analysis and identification of key considerations.<\/li>\n<li>Support investment theses, identify value creation strategies, and assist in developing transaction and deal structure ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the main point of contact for forecasting, financial, and performance-related queries, liaising with internal stakeholders as required.<\/li>\n<li>Implement short- and long-term business plan objectives, driving asset performance through collaboration with asset managers and third-party consultants.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct financial analysis, monitor performance against business plans, and review portfolio metrics on an ongoing basis.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in managing tenant relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Play a key role in strategic transactions, including underwriting reviews for acquisitions, asset dispositions, and execution of major capital expenditure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in monthly leasing calls and review or approve heads of terms and key lease agreements for major or strategic transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with the Capital Markets team on financings and lender reviews, taking a lead role in negotiations and refinancing execution.<\/li>\n<li>Manage approval processes and provide recommendations for requests from Portfolio Company management teams up to the Board.<\/li>\n<li>Frequent travel across Europe is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Skills required<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and proactive.<\/li>\n<li>Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership ability and a collaborative approach, with the capacity to motivate and engage experienced professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to take on special projects and contribute to the platform\u2019s growth.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in one or more European languages preferred (French, German, or Dutch).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Relevant Experience<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 8 years+ experience in real estate investment with a proven track record of sourcing and executing logistics transaction in Europe.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in an investment capacity<\/li>\n<li>Background of working with leasing or asset management is advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/brookfield.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com\/brookfield\/job\/London-England\/Vice-President_R2046744\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brookfield Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The incumbent will be responsible for portfolio and investment management activities covering Brookfield\u2019s logistics assets across the European continent.
