The successful candidate will join a very active investments platform, with Ventas having completed &gt;$4 billion in new investments since 4Q24. Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the development and review of complex financial models to evaluate acquisitions, joint ventures, developments, redevelopments, and debt investments.<\/li>\n<li>Own valuation analyses, including sensitivity testing of key assumptions, downside scenarios, and risk drivers.<\/li>\n<li>Structure and assess transaction alternatives at the asset, portfolio, and entity level, ensuring alignment with Ventas\u2019 investment criteria and strategic objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Lead due diligence efforts, including operator\/tenant financial analysis, market and competitive assessments, and site visits.<\/li>\n<li>Synthesize underwriting conclusions and risks into clear, executive\u2011ready recommendations for senior leadership and investment committees.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as key point of contact with brokers, sellers, investment bankers, and internal stakeholders to validate assumptions, resolve diligence items, and advance transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Corporate Finance to ensure transaction economics are accurately reflected in Ventas\u2019 financial projections and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present materials for executive approvals, investment committee reviews, and closing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Support negotiation and closing activities, including coordination of closing materials and transition of assets to Asset Management.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, contributing to the development of analytical standards and best practices within the Investments team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of experience in investment analysis, real estate underwriting, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, asset management, or a related highly analytical role<\/li>\n<li>Must be located in the Chicago, IL or New York, NY surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to independently underwrite and evaluate complex transactions with limited supervision<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies, capital structures, and investment risk analysis<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Argus or other real estate modeling tools strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong quantitative, problem\u2011solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast\u2011paced, deadline\u2011driven environment<\/li>\n<li>High degree of ownership, sound judgment, and comfort engaging with senior leadership and external counterparties<\/li>\n<li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/ventas.wd503.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/ventas_careers\/job\/IL---Chicago\/Senior-Financial-Analyst--Investments_R0001520\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ventas Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Senior Financial Analyst works directly with Investments team leadership, senior management, and cross\u2011functional partners in a fast\u2011paced, analytical, and deadline\u2011driven environment, with increased ownership over transaction analysis and execution&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7459,"featured_media":19873,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Chicago, IL","_application":"https:\/\/ventas.wd503.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/ventas_careers\/job\/IL---Chicago\/Senior-Financial-Analyst--Investments_R0001520","_company_name":"Ventas","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.ventasreit.com\/","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"$130,000 \u2013 $155,000","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":"","_apply_link":"","_hide_expiration":"0","_company_facebook":""},"job_listing_region":[192],"job-categories":[37,69,71],"job-types":[2],"job_listing_tag":[242],"class_list":{"0":"post-43497","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","6":"job_listing_region-usa-midwest","7":"job_listing_category-asset-management","8":"job_listing_category-finance","9":"job_listing_category-investment-banking","10":"job_listing_type-full-time","11":"job_listing_tag-reit","13":"job-type-full-time"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
