Additional information about Starwood Capital can be found at www.starwoodcapital.com.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain financial models and\/or underwriting for use in evaluating potential investments;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research and due diligence of prospective opportunities including their respective financial and organizational structures, review of legal documentation, analyze past and future performance, etc.;<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of unit or portfolio acquisition opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>Carry assigned duties to manage the many facets of bringing a deal to funding, including presentation to final investment committee;<\/li>\n<li>Possess strong communication skills in which to create concise written presentations;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with asset management including business plan development and exit strategy planning and execution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Requirements:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Superior analytical, quantitative, and technical skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong academic background, preferably in finance or accounting<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years of as an analyst in investment banking, real estate or finance related role (real estate experience a plus)<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint with a mastery in excel and ability to create in-depth financial analysis via models<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Strong judgement and decision making skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing, updating and analyzing large quantities of data<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage and effectively present information<\/li>\n<li>Strong business writing and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Japanese and English required<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"jv-job-detail-description\">\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.jobvite.com\/starwoodcapitalgroup\/job\/o29lufwK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Starwood Capital Group Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starwood Capital Group is a private investment firm with over $75 billion in assets under management and a primary focus on real estate.
