Carlyle Global Credit is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join the ABF (Asset-Backed Finance) Asset Management team, with a dedicated focus on analytics and reporting. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining and analyzing data that supports collateral analytics and portfolio surveillance across Carlyle\u2019s ABF strategies.<\/p>\n
The Associate will work closely with the Investment Teams to ensure the platform\u2019s data is accurate, timely, and actionable. This role offers significant exposure to ABS and structured credit investing.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities
\nData & Platform Management
\nMaintain and enhance core ABF datasets (deal-, asset-, and facility-level).
\nPartner with Technology to improve data integrations, automation, and analytics tools.
\nSupport the evolution of models and infrastructure for risk, liquidity, and ALM monitoring.<\/p>\n
Cash Flow Modeling & Analytics
\nBuild and maintain asset- and liability-level cash flow models (waterfalls, triggers, eligibility, credit enhancement, reinvestment assumptions).
\nProduce scenario, sensitivity, and stress analyses to assess market, structural, and performance impacts.
\nAnalyze asset and facility performance trends (delinquencies, prepayments, recoveries, collateral migration).
\nSupport valuation processes and ongoing portfolio surveillance.<\/p>\n
Portfolio Construction, Leverage & Liquidity
\nPartner with PM\/Group Head on portfolio construction, sizing, diversification, and yield optimization within investment guidelines.
\nDevelop short-, medium-, and long-term liquidity forecasts across funds and financing structures.
\nMonitor triggers, coverage tests, borrowing limits, advance rates, and structural headroom.
\nEvaluate the impact of originations, repayments, and market dynamics on leverage, liquidity, and capital efficiency.<\/p>\n
Financing & Structured Execution
\nSupport execution and ongoing management of warehouse facilities, subscription lines, NAV\/hybrid facilities, rated feeders, and ABS issuances.
\nPrepare borrowing base calculations, covenant compliance, collateral reporting, and lender packages.
\nMaintain facility and ABS models incorporating rating agency methodologies and structural tests.
\nCoordinate with lenders, trustees, agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and optimization.<\/p>\n
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
\nPartner with Investment, Fund Management, IR, Accounting, and Operations teams to align data, modeling, liquidity planning, and reporting.
\nSupport underwriting, asset onboarding, diligence, and forward funding analysis.
\nProduce recurring reporting packages and provide analytics for investor communications and portfolio reviews.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Requirements
\n2\u20135 years of experience in ABS, CLOs, structured credit, private credit, financial analytics, Portfolio & Liability Management, or financial operations roles within asset management, banking, or structured finance platforms.
\nExperience with loan-level datasets, securitization or warehouse reporting, or structured finance analytics.
\nStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
\nAbility to manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
\nExcellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical data concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.<\/p>\n
