{"id":43613,"date":"2026-04-29T14:03:56","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T19:03:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=43613"},"modified":"2026-04-28T01:38:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T06:38:40","slug":"mf-risk-asset-management-advisor","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/job\/mf-risk-asset-management-advisor\/","title":{"rendered":"MF Risk &#8211; Asset Management &#8211; Advisor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You will serve as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with borrowers, sponsors, legal counsel, internal risk partners, and third-party vendors to navigate highly sensitive and complex asset resolutions.<\/p>\n<h2>THE WORK YOU WILL DO<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage an assigned portfolio of non-performing multifamily loans and special assets.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, evaluate, and execute asset resolution strategies, including forbearance, loan modification, foreclosure, note sale, or liquidation.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor borrower performance and enforce compliance with loan agreements, workout plans, and revised terms.<\/li>\n<li>Perform financial analysis and risk assessments to inform asset strategy and recovery scenarios.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and support negotiations with borrowers, sponsors, legal counsel, and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with internal teams including Legal, Risk Management, Servicing, Finance, and Asset Operations<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and manage third-party relationships, including special servicers, receivers, appraisers, property managers, and brokers.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve recoveries, reduce exposure, and mitigate credit, operational, and reputational risk.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear, data-driven recommendations and reporting to leadership on asset performance and resolution progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>THE SKILLS YOU BRING<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Expertise in special asset management, distressed debt, or multifamily loan workouts<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial analysis skills, including cash flow analysis and property-level performance evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage complex negotiations and challenging stakeholder relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of multifamily lending, loan documentation, and asset resolution structures<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with legal teams and third-party vendors in workout or foreclosure processes.<\/li>\n<li>Strong risk management mindset with attention to policy, compliance, and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>QUALIFICATIONS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily special asset management, credit risk, loan workouts, or distressed asset resolution<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing non-performing loan portfolios preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/fanniemae.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com\/FannieMaeCareers\/job\/Plano-TX\/MF-Risk---Asset-Management---Advisor_JR2468\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fannie Mae&#8217;s Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You will serve as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with borrowers, sponsors, legal counsel, internal risk partners, and third-party vendors to navigate highly sensitive and complex asset resolutions.
