We are looking for a motivated, curious self-starter with a genuine passion for public markets and real estate. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and brings both analytical rigor and sharp insight to the investment decision-making process.<\/p>\n<p>Based in Hong Kong, the Equity Analyst will report directly to the <strong>Head of APAC, Public Securities,<\/strong> while working closely with members of our global securities team.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Research &amp; Due Diligence:<\/strong> Perform and maintain rigorous due diligence on companies under coverage; conduct comprehensive financial analysis, incorporating macroeconomic data and transactional trends.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial Modeling:<\/strong> Develop, enhance, and maintain internal corporate financial models, proprietary stock screening tools, and valuation frameworks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Market Engagement:<\/strong> Participate in corporate management meetings, earnings calls, and industry conferences to gather primary research and sector insights.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Idea Generation:<\/strong> Formulate compelling investment theses and generate actionable stock recommendations backed by robust, evidence-based research and a disciplined investment process.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ad-hoc Support:<\/strong> Assist with internal portfolio management tasks, investor reporting, and external client requests as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2\u20135 years of relevant experience in buy-side or sell-side equity research roles.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with listed real estate securities is highly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.<\/li>\n<li>Proven expertise in financial modeling at both the corporate (company) and individual asset levels.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to think critically and independently, with a track record of forming data-driven, differentiated investment views.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and logically.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in an additional Asian language (Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese) is a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, while equally open-minded and adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and colleagues at all levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heitman.com\/jobs\/oabaAfwP\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heitman Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Hong Kong office is seeking an Equity Analyst to join our Public Real Estate Securities team.
