The team works very closely with the asset management deal teams who manage the investments, finance, risk and senior stakeholders in the Firm to assess valuation outputs, challenge assumptions, and ensure valuations are robust, well-supported and aligned with the relevant valuation framework. This is a control and governance role, with exposure to interesting assets, and fluctuating market dynamics that require complex judgement calls and communication with a broad range of internal stakeholders. The team also deals with external auditors to provide rationale and comfort over the concluded valuations.
