This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of real estate investments in the alternative sectors throughout the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive work ethic, and a collaborative mindset. You will support the execution of business plans, performance monitoring, and strategic initiatives in close coordination with internal teams and external partners.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support asset management activities for assigned investments across the UK and Europe to drive performance and long-term value creation.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the execution of investment-level business plans, including leasing initiatives, capital projects, ESG programs, and value-add strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets in collaboration with internal stakeholders and operating partners.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the coordination and review of internal and external valuations, working closely with Finance, operating partners and external valuers.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor investment performance and regularly update financial model projections, including the incorporation of actuals, supporting strategic decision-making and informing revisions to business plans.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to quarterly reporting to Portfolio Management and Finance teams, including variance analysis and updated projections aligned with evolving business plans.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare materials that illustrate key performance insights, strategic developments, and investment updates to be presented to senior leadership as part of the quarterly investment review process.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in regular site visits and support in the oversight of third parties\u2014including operating partners, property managers, and leasing teams\u2014to ensure alignment with asset strategies and operational goals.<\/li>\n<li>Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions and performance optimisation.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams to perform detailed hold\/sell analyses, support refinancing processes, and assist exit strategies, including deliverables to be presented to senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Help maintain strong relationships with joint venture partners, consultants, and service providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>0-3 years of experience in real estate asset management, investment, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to alternative real estate sectors (e.g. student accommodation, residential, senior living and\/or self-storage) is advantageous but not required.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Argus and Power BI is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heitman.com\/jobs\/ojpmAfwo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heitman Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our London-based team.
