Our programs focus on practical, real-world education for operators, investors, lenders, developers, and other professionals working in this sector.<\/p>\n<p>After launching our first certificate programs (focused on valuation and underwriting properties) and validating early demand, NIC Academy is entering its next phase of growth. We are moving from a proof-of-concept phase to scaled growth, and we are building the systems, programs, and learning experiences that will support that expansion.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re seeking a Business Development Associate who will own the entire learner sales pipeline\u2014from lead nurturing through program enrollment and completion.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0<u><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sales &amp; Pipeline Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own and manage the full student sales pipeline from first touch to enrollment.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct outreach, discovery, and follow-up with prospective learners.<\/li>\n<li>Develop stage-specific nurture sequences and engagement touchpoints.<\/li>\n<li>Track student progress and proactively intervene to support completion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sales Operations &amp; Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own Salesforce setup, configuration, workflows, and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Build dashboards, forecasts, and performance reports.<\/li>\n<li>Propose pipeline and conversion experiments; test, measure, and iterate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Marketing Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with Marketing on collateral, messaging, and outreach campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Support segmentation and value proposition development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Events &amp; Conferences<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent the company at industry conferences, booths, and panels.<\/li>\n<li>Support event strategy and follow-up processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demonstrate NIC Values for Taking Pride in Our Work, Partnering with Others,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Being<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>a Spark, and Investing in Ourselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Other duties as assigned.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"job-listing-header\">Requirements<\/div>\n<div data-bind=\"html: Job.Requirements\">\n<p>\u00a0<u><strong>CORE<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0<u><strong>COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong influencing skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Timeliness<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding customer service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>30 days or more<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>EDUCATION,<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0<u><strong>CERTIFICATION<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0<u><strong>AND\/OR<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0<u><strong>EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0<strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\u20135+ years in sales, Business Development.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and relationship building skills.<\/li>\n<li>Comfort with CRM-driven workflows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in online learning<\/li>\n<li>Experience in senior housing, healthcare, real estate investment<\/li>\n<li>Experience representing a brand at conferences.<\/li>\n<li>Salesforce administration or reporting experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>WHY NIC? \u00a0<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve reached this section of the job description and are unsure of whether to apply, please do!
