This individual will join the firm as a member of Tishman Speyer\u2019s Debt Capital Markets team, focused on the marketing, negotiating, and closing of commercial real estate loans for Tishman Speyer\u2019s US developments, acquisitions, and refinancing efforts. S\/he will further support the team by providing market research and financial modelling to evaluate and recommend various debt structures. To achieve best-in-class financing results, the individual will collaborate with Tishman Speyer\u2019s various disciplines (Acquisitions, Development, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Leasing, Accounting, and Design &amp; Construction) and assist in presenting financing strategies to senior members of the Debt Capital Markets team.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with an established track record of closing financings, ideally nationwide and across various classes. Prior experience with office and multifamily financings, as well as construction financing, is required. Further, s\/he should possess strong quantitative skills and be exceptionally detail-oriented and well-organized.<\/p>\n<p>This individual will report to Jeanette Abate, Managing Director &amp; US Head of Debt Capital Markets. The role will be based in New York.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Marketing and closing Tishman Speyer\u2019s financings, including the preparation of financial analyses, internal management updates, lender marketing materials, and lender communication and loan negotiation process.<\/li>\n<li>Managing diligence process with potential lenders, acting as primary point of contact and liaison between lenders and senior team members.<\/li>\n<li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional lenders and capital markets brokers to support the firm\u2019s financing needs.<\/li>\n<li>Advising internal acquisitions, development, and asset management teams on optimal debt structures and market terms to support investment underwriting and refinancing strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively reviewing existing portfolio loans and upcoming financing pipeline to generate attractive new opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Producing internal memoranda and analyses highlighting trends in the financing markets and\/or pertaining to Tishman Speyer\u2019s loan portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping abreast of local real estate financing market information on an on-going basis. Regularly communicating with brokers\/lenders and reviewing newsletters and publications to remain current on market trends and update internal team.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with potential debt capital placement with note-on-note financing\/syndication for Tishman Speyer Real Estate Credit Strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Skills &amp; Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>6-8 years of commercial real estate experience, with debt capital markets experience, including the marketing, negotiation, and closing of commercial real estate loans (including construction loans and CMBS), required.<\/li>\n<li>Prior financing experience with office and multifamily assets is required; prior experience on the borrower\/equity side is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in utilizing AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to increase operational efficiency, enhance work quality, and identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work independently and proactively with exceptional attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage complex closing processes and keep senior team members apprised in real-time.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative nature and ability to build productive working relationships with colleagues across the entire organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/ts.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/tishmanspeyer\/job\/NYC---Midtown\/Senior-Associate-Director_R009292?q=commercial%20real%20estate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tishman Speyer&#8217;s Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tishman Speyer is seeking to hire an experienced and versatile professional to join as a Senior Associate\/Director focused on US Debt Capital Markets.
