Members of the FOA team share a strong drive to provide timely, accurate, and critical financial data analysis for the firm. In this role, you will have cross-functional visibility and the opportunity to work alongside internal groups, such as Asset Management, and external service providers. Our team works in a hybrid environment, with 3-days spent working in Heitman\u2019s office each week.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Applying your knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis in day-to-day responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Learning how to calculate property and debt valuations as well as investment performance metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and approving accounting transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and waterfall calculations.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing financial statements, supporting schedules, and related footnotes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate<\/li>\n<li>0 to 2 years of experience<\/li>\n<li>Analytically minded with an ability to manipulate and analyze data to identify trends, solve problems, and make informed recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Strong project and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Commitment and willingness to manage competing (sometimes tight) deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Strong team player and collaboration skills to support working together across multiple functional departments<\/li>\n<li>Motivated by independent and team-oriented successes<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem solver with the ability to leverage your analytical and critical thinking skills in school and\/or in the work environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>A \u201cthink outside the box\u201d mindset with a desire to brainstorm creative solutions in our ever-changing industry<\/li>\n<li>A fundamental knowledge of Excel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heitman.com\/jobs\/ogfTyfwG\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heitman Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Financial Operations &amp; Analysis department is looking to hire an Associate to join their team!
