{"id":45219,"date":"2026-08-04T02:38:36","date_gmt":"2026-08-04T07:38:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=45219"},"modified":"2026-08-03T02:41:49","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T07:41:49","slug":"assistant-vice-president-capital-markets","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/job\/assistant-vice-president-capital-markets\/","title":{"rendered":"Assistant Vice President, Capital Markets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our Chicago office is seeking an <strong>Assistant Vice President of Capital Markets<\/strong> who possess a broad understanding of debt capital sources, has strong technical and relationship building skills, and an ability to manage multiple transactions.<\/p>\n<p>Heitman\u2019s US Capital Markets desk is responsible for raising and managing debt liquidity across the firm\u2019s various holdings, at the property and fund level. The team manages external lender &amp; broker relationships, advises internally on financing decisions, and executes the placement of third-party financing. The AVP will serve an integral role in achieving the team\u2019s objectives.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with the Head of U.S. Capital Markets on all aspects of financing activity for clients of the North America Private Equity and Private Debt groups.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Heitman Portfolio Management and Acquisitions teams to ensure efficient and effective handling of debt financing\/refinancing needs for clients of the North American Private Equity group<\/li>\n<li>Participate with Heitman Private Debt team to evaluate financing strategies and source debt capital for bridge lending programs.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with fixed and floating rate mortgage financing, lines of credit, repurchase facilities and\/or note finance are desirable<\/li>\n<li>Assemble information from Acquisitions, Loan Originations or Asset Management to prepare loan request packages for distribution to lenders.<\/li>\n<li>Organize, answer and communicate responses to lender questions during loan request underwriting.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble and evaluate loan quotes, prepare comparative matrix of terms and communicate recommended financing choice.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the closing process, working closely with joint venture partners as well as Heitman loan closing, property due diligence and legal teams.<\/li>\n<li>Working with transaction teams, reviewing loan documents for compliance and consistency with term sheets.<\/li>\n<li>Manage lender relationships with Capital Markets team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>BA in business or related field<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in real estate finance or equity investment analysis<\/li>\n<li>5-7 years prior experience with a lender or debt broker preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written\/verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience negotiating loan documentation<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills including Argus and Excel modeling preferred<\/li>\n<li>Solid working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, PDF and PowerPoint applications<\/li>\n<li>Must be a self-starter and self-motivated and have strong multi-tasking skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be detail oriented and able to work with limited supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heitman.com\/jobs\/oqfyAfwx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heitman Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Chicago office is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Capital Markets who possess a broad understanding of debt capital sources, has strong technical and relationship building skills, and an&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2767,"featured_media":1755,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Chicago, IL","_application":"https:\/\/www.heitman.com\/jobs\/oqfyAfwx\/","_company_name":"Heitman","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.heitman.com","_company_tagline":"Investing forward and delivering on trust.","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"$120,000-$140,000","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":"","_apply_link":"","_hide_expiration":"0","_company_facebook":""},"job_listing_region":[192],"job-categories":[67,69],"job-types":[2],"job_listing_tag":[241],"class_list":{"0":"post-45219","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","6":"job_listing_region-usa-midwest","7":"job_listing_category-debt-origination","8":"job_listing_category-finance","9":"job_listing_type-full-time","10":"job_listing_tag-real-estate-private-equity","12":"job-type-full-time"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
