We are a creative and dedicated team, and you\u2019ll do important work for the housing finance system and make a difference in the lives of others.<\/p>\n<h2>Your Impact:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You will build toward credit approval and closing individual mortgage loans collateralized by multifamily properties<br \/>\nAccu<\/li>\n<li>rately review and ensure concise, complete, and transparent Investment Briefs and ensure data quality for loan securitization<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and conclude on unique affordable housing pro forma property financial statement considerations, resolve transactional issues that escalate in third party reports, work with Producers to structure deals, review borrower financial position, market analysis, property inspections, and present deals for approval as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Develop resolutions to problems of limited scope following specific and detailed procedures<\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with Optigo Lenders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline or comparable amount of directly relevant professional experience<\/li>\n<li>5 + years of related professional experience preferably in multifamily or commercial real estate finance<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of real estate property fundamentals and real estate lending\/underwriting<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with target affordable housing debt structures and products (i.e., tax exempt loans, forward commitments, preservation rehabs, etc.) helpful<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word<\/li>\n<li>Position requires travel for property inspections (10% or less)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Keys to Success in this Role:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interest in a commercial real estate career<\/li>\n<li>Excellent collaborator and phenomenal teammate, strong work ethic, and positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Proficient multitasker that keeps calm under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Stay current on policies and regulations that may affect the industry and be comfortable with transition and change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/careers.freddiemac.com\/us\/en\/job\/JR17367\/Multifamily-Senior-Underwriter-Targeted-Affordable-Housing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Freddie Mac&#8217;s Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you are a hard-working, motivated, and intellectually driven professional with a passion for commercial real estate (CRE) and finance, Freddie Mac Multifamily is the employer for you!
