This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in the management of IREEF, our flagship pan-European diversified real estate fund.<\/p>\n<p>Working across transactions, asset management, financing, portfolio strategy and investor reporting, you&#8217;ll gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle while helping shape key investment decisions. This is far more than a modelling role. We&#8217;re looking for someone who is intellectually curious, commercially minded and confident forming investment views, someone who can turn complex analysis into meaningful investment insights.<\/p>\n<p>If you enjoy asking questions, challenging assumptions, and influencing decisions, we&#8217;d love to hear from you<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Fund &amp; Portfolio Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own and continually enhance the fund-level model, including performance forecasting, scenario analysis, and portfolio construction insights<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a forward-looking view of fund performance, identifying key risks and opportunities across sectors and geographies<\/li>\n<li>Support hold\/sell recommendations, capital allocation decisions, and broader portfolio strategy initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Deliver fund-level analysis and reporting, including rental and occupancy trends, valuation drivers, performance attribution, and other key portfolio metrics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Transactions &amp; Underwriting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the underwriting of acquisitions and disposals from a fund-level perspective<\/li>\n<li>Partner with local transaction teams across Europe to evaluate opportunities against fund objectives and investment strategy<\/li>\n<li>Challenge and flex key assumptions within complex financial models, developing downside, upside, and sensitivity scenarios to assess risk and return outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear, concise, and commercially focused recommendations to support investment decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Asset Management &amp; Business Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and challenge asset-level business plans across the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with asset management teams to understand the operational drivers influencing asset performance<\/li>\n<li>Analyse budgets against actual performance, identifying variances, trends, and areas requiring attention<\/li>\n<li>Identify value creation opportunities and potential risks at both asset and portfolio level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fund Strategy &amp; Decision Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to investment committee papers, portfolio reviews, and strategic presentations<\/li>\n<li>Translate complex data and analysis into clear, decision-ready insights<\/li>\n<li>Bring independent thinking, commercial judgement, and a constructive challenge mindset to discussions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financing &amp; Structure Awareness<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with finance and structured finance teams to ensure models accurately reflect debt structures, tax considerations, and fund-level mechanics<\/li>\n<li>Understand and evaluate the impact of financing decisions on fund performance, risk profile, and liquidity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Investor Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the preparation of quarterly investor reports, performance analysis, and investor communications<\/li>\n<li>Clearly articulate the key drivers of fund performance, providing insight into both outcomes and underlying trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>You&#8217;ll need to have:<\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with curiosity, commercial awareness and a desire to make an impact.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some years of relevant experience (exceptional candidates considered outside this range)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in real estate investment, fund management, valuation, advisory or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial modelling and underwriting skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Excel capabilities, including cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis<\/li>\n<li>A solid understanding of real estate investment fundamentals and valuation drivers<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to European real estate markets is advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Experience with tools such as Argus or Forbury is helpful but not essential<\/li>\n<li>A degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline<\/li>\n<li>A strong academic track record<\/li>\n<li>CFA, RICS or CAIA qualifications (or progress towards them) are a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>You&#8217;ll Thrive in This Role If You Are:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Curious and naturally driven to understand the &#8220;why&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and comfortable taking ownership<\/li>\n<li>Commercially minded and interested in how assets create value<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable challenging assumptions and expressing your views<\/li>\n<li>Able to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely<\/li>\n<li>Motivated by problem-solving and continuous learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/invesco.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/IVZ\/job\/London-London\/Senior-Associate--Fund-Analysis--Real-Estate-_R-14531\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Invesco&#8217;s Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re looking for a Senior Associate, Fund Analyst to join our London or Munich\u2011based Real Estate Investment team!
