The role provides broad exposure to the real estate investment lifecycle, including market research, financial analysis, underwriting, due diligence, investment committee processes, transaction execution and asset-level strategy. As the successful candidate develops, they will be expected to take increasing ownership of individual workstreams and transactions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the underwriting and evaluation of new investment and development opportunities across different real estate sectors and risk profiles;<\/li>\n<li>Build, maintain and review detailed financial models, including acquisition, development, financing, asset management and exit assumptions;<\/li>\n<li>Undertake market, comparable transaction, leasing and investment analysis to support investment decisions;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare investment committee memoranda, internal presentations, business plans and materials for capital partners;<\/li>\n<li>Support the D\u00fcsseldorf team in identifying and assessing new investment opportunities in D\u00fcsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia and other relevant German markets;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in transaction execution and coordinate elements of the due diligence process alongside internal teams, advisers and other external counterparties;<\/li>\n<li>Analyse potential financing structures and support discussions with lenders and financing partners;<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation and review of asset-level business plans, budgets and forecasts;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the performance of selected investments against approved business plans and underwriting assumptions;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare detailed analytics and reporting for internal stakeholders, investors, capital partners, lenders and other service providers;<\/li>\n<li>Support leasing, development, refurbishment and asset management initiatives where relevant;<\/li>\n<li>Review quarterly and monthly reporting and assist with internal reporting and budget processes;<\/li>\n<li>Undertake tenant and counterparty analysis where required;<br \/>\nMaintain market intelligence on transactions, rents, yields, development activity, occupier trends and capital markets;<\/li>\n<li>Respond to internal information requests and contribute to wider German and European investment initiatives; and<\/li>\n<li>Use appropriate technology and AI-enabled tools to improve the efficiency, quality and accuracy of analysis, research and routine workflows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirement include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 1\u20132 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within real estate investment, private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, development, valuation or a comparable analytical environment;<\/li>\n<li>Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate real estate investment concepts into clear and accurate financial analysis;<\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel financial modelling skills and a good understanding of investment returns, cash flows, financing and valuation;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable interest in real estate investment and development;<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of the fundamental principles of real estate investment, development and investment management;<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;<\/li>\n<li>Interest in using AI and emerging technology to improve research, analysis and day-to-day working practices;<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken;<\/li>\n<li>Previous exposure to the German real estate market would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Highly analytical, intellectually curious and commercially minded;<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work;<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of individual workstreams;<\/li>\n<li>Able to work effectively with colleagues at different levels of seniority and with external advisers, investors and business partners;<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable operating in a collaborative, entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment;<\/li>\n<li>Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under time pressure;
