Interns will apply their analytical and communication skills while supporting both internal and external relationship management, a cornerstone of Welltower\u2019s development strategy and industry leadership.<\/p>\n<p>The Development team is responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with the Investments team to analyze development opportunities at the pre-acquisition stage.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in overseeing active deals through turnover.<\/li>\n<li>Support the management of internal and external partnerships.<\/li>\n<li>Benchmark key information to compare and evaluate future deals.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the underwriting of development opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in tracking and reviewing development budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Help standardize and align information provided by partners.<\/li>\n<li>Support the analysis of partner performance.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in site and land visits, as well as market assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the selection process for contractors and consultants.<\/li>\n<li>Help educate Investment team members on the development process.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an understanding of market supply and demand fundamentals.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>OTHER DUTIES<\/h2>\n<p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this employee for this job.
