This opportunity offers significant exposure to many SCG team members including Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Acquisitions, Finance and Investor Relations.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities include:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support monthly valuation process for SREIT, which includes global investments across multiple sectors, primarily multifamily and industrial<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain internal valuation models (Excel, Argus, Anaplan), utilizing input from Asset Management, reviewing and analyzing property financials, and conducting independent market research<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the quarterly review of third-party real estate appraisals, including coordination of supporting documentation, analyzing appraisal assumptions and discounted cash flows, and preparing summaries of results<\/li>\n<li>Communicate directly with third-party appraisers and SREIT\u2019s independent valuation advisor as part of the quarter-end appraisal process<\/li>\n<li>Produce asset and fund level reporting for senior management, investors and board of directors on a monthly and quarterly basis<\/li>\n<li>Aid in valuation automation and AI projects intended to enhance efficiencies in the group\u2019s reporting processes, procedures and analytics<\/li>\n<li>Support SREIT\u2019s Finance and Investor Relations teams on an ad hoc basis for due diligence and\/or investor requests<\/li>\n<li>Perform ad hoc sensitivities and analyses to assess impacts to portfolio valuations or returns based on changes to property and\/or portfolio assumptions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in real estate, finance, business or related area with strong GPA<\/li>\n<li>2\u20135 years of relevant real estate valuation background preferred. Multifamily experience is a plus. Experience with open-ended real estate fund finance, valuations and performance reporting<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with financial modeling, including discounted cash flow analyses<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Argus, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
