Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Asset Managers, Finance, Acquisitions teams and Investor Relations professionals, the successful candidate will play a key role in portfolio analysis, fund modelling, performance monitoring, strategic asset allocation and investor reporting.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Portfolio Manager in the day-to-day management of the Portfolio and execution of the investment strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake fund-level analysis including portfolio construction, liquidity management, capital allocation, performance measurement and risk assessment.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor portfolio performance against business plans, budgets, underwriting assumptions and strategic objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the evaluation and implementation of portfolio management initiatives that drive value creation and enhance investment performance.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate investment opportunities by analysing underwriting, assumptions, risk-adjusted returns, portfolio fit, strategic alignment and Portfolio-level implications.<\/li>\n<li>Support investment recommendations and preparation of materials for Investment Committee approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and portfolio impact assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Investment and Asset Management teams across Europe to assess acquisition, financing and disposition opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Review asset-level business plans and operating performance to ensure alignment with fund objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Support fundraising and investor relations activities, including coordination of due diligence requests and preparation of fundraising materials.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation and review of quarterly and annual investor reporting, investor presentations and market updates.<\/li>\n<li>Support Investment Committee, Advisory Committee and other internal governance processes.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a key link between Portfolio Management, Investment, Asset Management, Finance, Capital Markets and Investor Relations teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, Engineering or another highly analytical discipline.<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years of relevant professional experience within real estate private equity, investment management, real estate funds, investment banking, corporate finance or a related investment environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of real estate investment fundamentals, portfolio management and institutional fund structures.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills with a strong understanding of underwriting, valuation methodologies and investment returns.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions, interrogate financial analyses and develop independent investment views.<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial judgement and understanding of risk and return dynamics.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively across teams and geographies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heitman.com\/jobs\/o39TAfwp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heitman Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heitman is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Portfolio Analyst to support the management of European real estate investment portfolios.
