That is why we are committed to growing and cultivating teams that include people with a variety of perspectives, people who provide unique lenses through which to view potential deals, support and run our business.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Duties:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain detailed financial models (cash flow, returns, and sensitivity analysis) for potential acquisitions across residential, living, and other real estate sectors;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct market research and sector analysis to support investment theses and deal sourcing;<\/li>\n<li>Support due diligence on potential transactions, including coordinating outside accounting, legal, tax, and consulting advisors and synthesizing their findings;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with structuring and arranging acquisition financing, including liaising with lenders and reviewing term sheets;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare investment committee memos and transaction presentations, including valuation analysis and risk assessment;<\/li>\n<li>Support negotiation processes and documentation review alongside deal leads and legal counsel;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with portfolio monitoring and performance analysis on existing investments as needed;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and confidential issues; and<\/li>\n<li>Other reasonably related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong academic record from a premier educational institution;<\/li>\n<li>Prior investment banking, private equity, or consulting experience with a corporate finance or real estate focus (ideally);<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial modeling and analytical skills required;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player;<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter; confident asking questions and able to work independently in a fast-paced but collegiate environment;<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize;<\/li>\n<li>Mature, reliable and hard-working, with strong executive presence;<\/li>\n<li>Motivated and persistent \u2013 goes the extra mile; and<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in German would be a plus (but not a requirement).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/carlyle.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/Carlyle\/job\/London-United-Kingdom\/Real-Estate-Intern_R-00336\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Carlyle Group Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This position will support the European Real Estate Investment team in London, providing analytical, financial, and research support across sourcing, execution, and asset management of transactions.
