{"id":46849,"date":"2026-10-26T12:48:49","date_gmt":"2026-10-26T17:48:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=46849"},"modified":"2026-10-27T00:54:53","modified_gmt":"2026-10-27T05:54:53","slug":"director-senior-mortgage-producer-5","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.adventuresincre.com\/acrejobs\/job\/director-senior-mortgage-producer-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Director, Senior Mortgage Producer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The successful candidate will source, identify, analyze, originate, close and manage commercial mortgage loan opportunities to fulfill the investment needs of MetLife Investment Management\u2019s real estate lending platform.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Originate, close and manage new commercial real estate loan investments across multiple asset classes located in the Northeastern US.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, expand and maintain external relationships with key market participants, such as mortgage bankers, developers, consultants, and investors which extend beyond existing MetLife relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Solicit investment opportunities from market participants and communicate MetLife\u2019s commercial real estate loan lending parameters and products.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate new commercial real estate loan investment requests in view of MetLife investment criteria.<\/li>\n<li>Underwrite potential new commercial real estate loan investments, including evaluating the collateral, sponsorship, and structure; identify potential risks and propose appropriate mitigation structures.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare transaction memoranda and present to investment committees for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the closing process for new transactions, including negotiating loan applications and loan documents, completing all due diligence, and coordinating a closing team that includes loan asset managers, analysts, attorneys, architects, appraisers and other third-party service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the management and administration of commercial real estate loan investments in the Regional Office portfolio, including annual mortgage ratings, collateral valuations, property inspections, lease approvals, and loan assumptions and modifications.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and develop junior associates.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and monitor ongoing performance of commercial real estate loan portfolio in accordance with stated strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategies for sub-performing loans.<\/li>\n<li>Fulfill all loan portfolio reporting requests, as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a close relationship with Debt Strategies Group.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Regional Office colleagues to drive increased production of debt transactions across the entire MetLife platform<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Results-driven professional with 10+ years of experience originating commercial mortgage loan assets<\/li>\n<li>Expertise and strong relationships with key regional market participants, including brokers, borrowers, bankers, developers, and operators relevant to the commercial mortgage loan market<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of all major asset classes in commercial real estate<\/li>\n<li>Strong credit skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and appropriately price risk<\/li>\n<li>Comfort and credibility presenting accurate and compelling recommendations to executive Investment Committee members<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to develop and introduce profitable investment strategies and execute same through dynamic leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with experienced internal and external partners<\/li>\n<li>Strong marketing and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree required; MBA preferred<\/li>\n<li>Understand and use of AI platforms to assist and supplement workflow efficiencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrixed team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to mentoring and developing junior associates.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated computer skills including proficiency with Argus Enterprise, Excel, Word, PowerPoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metlifecareers.com\/en_US\/ml\/JobDetail\/Director-Senior-Mortgage-Producer\/20889\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MetLife Real Estate Career Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The successful candidate will source, identify, analyze, originate, close and manage commercial mortgage loan opportunities to fulfill the investment needs of MetLife Investment Management\u2019s real estate lending platform.
