1. A.CRE Downloads
Here are the basic terms and conditions of use for any file downloaded from www.AdventuresinCRE.com or its affiliates:
Any and all files downloaded from this website (the “software”) are distributed as is, completely without warranty or service support. www.AdventuresinCRE.com and its authors are not liable for the condition or performance of the software. You may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, spiders, or any other automated means to access, download, index, or collect files, models, or content from this website. You agree to comply with any technical access controls, including but not limited to robots.txt directives, rate limits, CAPTCHAs, and download authentication requirements.
www.AdventuresinCRE.com owns the copyright and grants users a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license with respect to the software as set forth below.
www.AdventuresinCRE.com and its authors hereby disclaim all implied warranties. www.AdventuresinCRE.com grants the users the right to modify, copy, and redistribute the software and documentation, both within the user’s organization and externally, subject to the following restrictions:
- The users agree not to charge others for use of the software, regardless of whether users have altered and/or improved the software in anyway.
- In any use of the software, the users agree to acknowledge the www.AdventuresinCRE.com authors that developed the software.
- The users agree to obey all government restrictions governing redistribution or export of the software.
- The users agree to reproduce any copyright notice which appears on the software and documentation on any copy or modification of such made available to others.
- The user agrees to not modify, delete, or password protect access to the Versions tab, and any use of an A.CRE model, whether in part or in whole, must include a copy of the Version tab for that model used, modified, adapted, or shared by user.
- The users agree not to engage in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting, or systematic collection of downloaded files or their contents.
Read the AdventuresinCRE.com disclaimer.
Use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Technologies
AdventuresinCRE.com, LLC (“A.CRE”) strictly prohibits the use of any content, models, data, files, tools, or other material from the A.CRE websites—including but not limited to www.AdventuresinCRE.com, app.AdventuresinCRE.com, and app.Adventuresincre.ai—for the purposes of training, fine-tuning, developing, or enhancing any artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), deep learning, or similar computational models or applications without prior written consent.
All automated systems, including AI crawlers and web scrapers, must comply with the robots.txt file and any other machine-readable access directives published on A.CRE websites. Failure to comply with these directives constitutes a violation of these Terms and unauthorized access to A.CRE’s systems.
However, A.CRE permits large language models (LLMs), AI systems, and search engine technologies to index, retrieve, summarize, or answer questions based on A.CRE content so long as:
- Attribution is clearly provided, including the name “Adventures in CRE”;
- A clickable hyperlink is included to the original page or www.AdventuresinCRE.com;
- The content is not stored or retained for training or fine-tuning of proprietary or open-source AI systems.
- Content is not cached, stored in vector databases, or embedded in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems beyond what is necessary for a single, transient user query.
No A.CRE content may be used, in whole or in part, to:
- Train or retrain any AI or ML model;
- Build or generate tools, datasets, prompts, or plugins intended for resale or commercial use;
- Bypass licensing, attribution, or paid access restrictions;
- Offer AI-powered services that directly compete with or mimic A.CRE resources.
- Replicate, reverse-engineer, or derive the methodologies, analytical frameworks, formulas, or instructional structures embedded in A.CRE content for use in AI-generated outputs or AI-powered tools.
A.CRE reserves the right to monitor for unauthorized use of its content in AI training datasets, model outputs, and derivative tools, and may employ technical measures including but not limited to content fingerprinting and watermarking to detect such use.
Any violation of this policy will result in immediate and permanent revocation of all licenses granted under these Terms, termination of access to all A.CRE platforms, and forfeiture of any fees paid. A.CRE will pursue all available legal remedies, including but not limited to DMCA takedown requests, injunctive relief, and claims for actual and statutory damages. Violators shall be responsible for all costs of enforcement, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and investigation costs. These remedies are cumulative and in addition to any other rights or remedies available at law or in equity. Any entity that knowingly uses, benefits from, or incorporates content obtained in violation of this policy shall be deemed a co-violator and subject to the same remedies.
Model Refunds
All models downloaded from A.CRE are offered on a “Pay What You’re Able Basis”, with no minimum. Therefore, if you have any question as to whether a model is right for you, we ask that you first download the free version. Nevertheless, if you pay for a model and subsequently determine that you’d like a refund, for any reason, simply ask and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.
To request a model refund, contact A.CRE support.
Policy on Charge-backs and Paypal Disputes for Model Purchases
A.CRE has a zero tolerance policy for credit card chargebacks and Paypal disputes. If you paid for a model, and would like a refund, simply ask and it will be granted. If you don’t request a refund, and instead pursue a credit card chargeback or Paypal dispute, A.CRE will not challenge the dispute. However, any user that issues a chargeback or Paypal dispute will be banned permanently from downloading models from A.CRE going forward.
Why a zero tolerance policy for chargebacks? Credit card chargebacks and Paypal disputes have a cost to A.CRE and the A.CRE community – both in terms of A.CRE reputation with credit card companies as well as in terms of chargeback fees. Given that A.CRE models are offered on a Pay What You’re Able basis as a service to the industry, excessive chargebacks hurts A.CRE’s ability to offer models to the industry in this fashion.
