Keymaster7 years, 10 months ago #2798The model is working correctly. It was built to only show two tabs when you open the file. As you fill in the basic information on the Summary tab, the tabs you need to complete the model unhide. You can learn more by reading the Guide to Getting Started.
[A quick note on this topic a few months after answering this question: I’ve received this question numerous times since first releasing the model, and it makes sense that many are confused about this issue. The model includes dozens of tabs (and growing!), and so to improve user experience I’ve added functionality to automatically hide/show tabs depending on the specifics of the deal you’re modeling. The idea is you only have tabs open that you need. When you first open the model, you only need the Versions tab and the Summary tab. As you begin to fill out the Summary tab, the tabs you need to complete your analysis become available to you.]

I am using a Mac (2016 excel version) and experiencing the same issues after going through the getting started component and enabling the additional tabs. Property type is showing “apartments” and both the MF Tabs and the Report Tabs cells are set to “show”, however no new tabs are populating.
I am wandering whether this is a Mac issue. Thanks,

Sounds like the Macros aren’t running properly. Did you enable Macros when you opened the file initially? Try closing Excel, renaming the original file you downloaded, opening it again, and the ‘Enable Macros’ box should pop up anew. Click to ‘Enable Macros’ and let me know if the problem persists.
