This position is for a Financial Analysts who is driven with basic understanding financial principles/terms, ready to have an immersive experience within the Separate Accounts group. This candidate should be a motivated team player and can expect to assist with the preparation of journal entries, financial report analysis and other accounting duties. Additionally, this candidate has a passion for process improvement and robotic technologies. The position reports to the Assistant Vice President of Separate Accounts in Tampa, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare/post journal entries
- Reconciliations
- Generate and export various reports from the accounting systems to assist with financial analysis.
- Financial Reporting
- Assist with document processes and controls
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
- Aptitude for math, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible
Preferred:
- Experience uusing Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) a plus
- Experience using Access (tables, queries, etc) a plus
