Associate Director / Director (Research, Real Estate) Full Time

C&W Research & Consulting aims to support the growth of the company by providing timely and superior expertise to its service lines and clients in the field of real estate market research and analysis. It has been able to acquire new business through the provision of accurate and reliable statistical real estate market data and reports in line with the company’s standards, excellent market knowledge, and presentations that focus on the key points.
This position is for an Assistant Manager or Manager to work in the Research & Consulting department. We aim to develop the next generation of leaders who can become research leaders in specific fields.

Required knowledge and experience

• Experience in real estate services companies, investment banks, trust banks, real estate funds, general real estate companies etc. is a plus.
• Expertise in any of the following areas: commercial real estate, economics, data analytics, or spatial analytics.
• Basic knowledge to communicate statistics and economic data correctly

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead strategic research initiatives. Develop and implement research and opinion leadership plans in consultation with business units. Coordinate major research projects across multiple divisions and disciplines.
• Creation and distribution of analytical research materials for customers
• Update asset class databases, quality control, validation and improvement of internal data (including automation).
• As a member of the research team, he creates and reviews deliverables for domestic and international clients.
• Participate in client presentations and other meetings providing timely market information, updates and insights.
• Provide support for efforts to develop and strengthen new research services.
• Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP) for research and consulting engagements and manage the delivery of high quality consulting reports that meet and exceed client expectations.
• Work with Marketing & Communications to build relationships with media and public relations personnel in the market.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team and have basic communication skills to connect with stakeholders in different positions
• Intermediate or higher ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Specialized knowledge and experience with other analytical software, including Power BI, is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and have attention to detail

Language and requirements

• A university-level degree is required as a minimum, with a related degree in economics or finance being a plus.
• Any age or nationality is welcome.
• Native Japanese, Business level English
