The AVP – Analyst is tasked with overseeing a portfolio of small-medium balance commercial real estate loans. The role involves continuous monitoring and surveillance of loans and collateral within various lines of business.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor an assigned pool of agency Special Credit loans, interfacing with mortgage bankers, borrowers and agency representatives as needed.
- Develop and execute business plans, including workout or liquidation strategies, and present these plans to committees. This role also requires communication with borrowers, agency representatives, and legal counsel.
- Conduct analysis of property-level cash flows to estimate property valuation, assess market income and expenses, and determine capitalization rates.
- Assess the borrower’s current financial situation to devise the most effective liquidation strategy that maximizes recovery efficiently.
- Collaborate with HUD and legal counsel to apply workout remedies and process loan assignment claims.
- Work with FNMA to implement workout strategies, address property condition issues, and manage forbearance requests and extensions.
- Adhere to both internal and external policies, procedures, and agency program guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting as required.
- Minimal travel to see collateral and attend conferences, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial analysis and real estate valuation, with an understanding of cash flow modeling and capitalization rates.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain precise records and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including coordination with international teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
