The research team acts as a central data and knowledge hub, observes global real estate markets, utilizes digitalization as well as data- and model-based analyses, and advises clients on business decisions.
THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO WITH US
Market analysis & data management:
- Independent collection, structuring, and analysis of transaction, supply, and demand data for the German and European housing markets. Development of in-depth analyses and studies on current trends, regulatory frameworks, and investment prospects at the national and European levels.
Technological Application & Reporting:
- Application of statistical and econometric methods for market analysis (including using R or comparable programming languages). Conception, development, and enhancement of business intelligence solutions (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for structured data provision and the creation and quality assurance of market reports and internal standard reports. Active use and further development of AI-supported tools for the automation, scaling, and efficiency improvement of research and analysis processes.
Client Interaction & Consulting:
- Collaboration on research and consulting projects (market, location, and asset analyses) for national and international investors. Active participation in client meetings, pitches, and client acquisition. Independent creation and delivery of market presentations, client workshops, and presentations at conferences and industry events.
Internal collaboration & support:
- Cooperation with internal specialist teams for the further development of data-driven analysis and visualization methods, as well as support in answering business, customer and press inquiries.
THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER
Academic background & experience:
- Completed university degree (e.g., economic geography, economics) with a focus on real estate or capital markets, as well as several years of professional experience in the research or analysis environment of the real estate industry, ideally with a focus on residential properties.
Professional skills:
- Very good knowledge of the German housing market and understanding of European markets, strong economic thinking and knowledge of investor, transaction and valuation logics.
Analytical & technical skills:
- Strong affinity for data and numbers, experience in statistical analysis (e.g., R, Python), practical experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and excellent knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. A very strong affinity for AI tools and data-driven applications, as well as openness to new technological developments.
Personal skills:
- Independent, structured and responsible work ethic, confident demeanor, excellent communication skills, and enjoyment of presentations and professional exchange. Willingness to travel.
Language skills:
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
