Analyst, Structured Asset Management Full Time

The Analyst, Structured Asset Management will be responsible for the analysis, servicing and reporting of loans in Arbor Realty Trust’s (ART) loan portfolio.

Essential Job Functions (Duties/Responsibilities)

The Structured Asset Management Analyst will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Support Asset Management activities for a portfolio of loans and Structured Bridge product
• Assist Asset Managers with financial statement entry and analysis of property operations compared to underwriting, borrower budgets, and stabilized projections
• Assist Asset Managers with market research, review and analysis of leases, appraisals and other third-party reports, and preparation of valuation models
• Provide borrower support, loan administration and support on various ad hoc and special projects including production of data tapes
• Prepare and edit financial reports for investors, auditors, and senior management; including but not limited to CLO investor newsletters, management reports, and rating agency reports. Review and interpret construction and development documents, such as site plans, budgets, contracts, legal documents, and coordinate with borrower and respective staff to ensure the loans remain in compliance, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Real Estate, Finance or a related discipline.

Experience

One to three years’ experience in construction, finance or related field. Exposure to real estate, risk and financial analysis, valuation of commercial real estate properties, underwriting or asset management, client relationship management, distressed loan workouts, capital markets and property rehabilitations is desired.

• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and on teams in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• Loan servicing system experience a plus
