Responsibilities
- Understanding of real estate valuation methodologies, working knowledge of real estate equity
- Analyze rent rolls, financials, commercial leases and other asset level activities used for modeling
- Ensure that the external models and appraisals are consistent with the valuation methodologies
- Manage the internal data behind commercial leases, rent rolls and other asset level activity that are used for modeling
- Ensure that the flow of data underlying all real estate investment level analytics is accurate and correct.
- Collaborate with internal asset managers, external appraisers and other vendors to facilitate the valuation process of real estate assets.
- Keep up to date with real estate market trends that influence property values
Qualifications
- Strong academic background. MBA, CFA or CA preferred.
- Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Team player
- Strong project and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work with automation and analytics tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Databases) a plus
- Experience with Argus or other real estate modelling tools a plus.
- Able to work under tight time constraints
- Able to manage, organize and improve current processes
- Argus Enterprise experience required / highly recommended
