Responsible to support brokerage professionals from the Philadelphia Industrial team with business development to accomplish lead generation and secure client relationships for the firm. Will provide analytical, administrative and marketing support to senior level professionals, as well as supervised transaction services (tours, negotiating economic terms, etc.) in the leasing of buildings or portfolios.

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Develop new business primarily through in-person contacts, phone calls, canvassing and follow-up to include; presentations to those who influence decisions and decision-makers and schedule fact-to-face contact with prospective candidates requiring real estate services
  • Report and update team members on calling program status; clients met, potential deals being generated; this will involve using and maintaining the firm’s CRM software for tracking new business development
  • Work with senior team members as needed to assist in calls and business development activities
  • Represent the interests of client firms to locate available space (including researching companies and executives, preparing surveys, conducting tours, evaluating proposals, conducting financial analysis, preparing lease abstracts and reviewing lease documents)
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials (including flyers, floor plans, brochures, stacking plans, and maps)
  • Work closely with brokers to prepare proposals and strategies for presentations, as well as working closely with internal departments and perform independent research to pull together market information for clients
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with industry professionals
  • Prepare financial analyses comparing various occupancy options


  • Real estate salesperson’s license within state of employment required
  • Bachelor Degree; MBA or graduate degree in Real Estate a plus
  • Experience in Commercial Real Estate, Finance or Sales preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (or CRM) and CoStar a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of finance (e.g., concepts of present value and return on investment)

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet client and brokerage team needs
  • Strong math a research skills
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate terminology and nomenclature
